A week later…..:)))))

I’m sitting here at McAlister’s with my great friend (the biggest nerd i know) Mr. Cameron Brister!! A.K.A. BRUSTER! Our lunch was actually going quite well until a woman walked in, in her fishnet hose and go go boots…it wouldn’t be so bad if she wasn’t at least 72 years old!!!  And her hair is redder than Raggedy Ann’s : /.  And just our luck she, of course, is sitting right across from us…poor Cameron, he is lucky enough to get the great view, and it is such a distraction he completely forgot about his 2 o’clock class!!! Shame shame:(…anyway, now I am off to my art class! I will be blogging more later! :)

After the Concert…

Posted on 2008 10, 23 by hayley

After the concert, I went STRAIGHT to Popeyes to get my usual #1 combo, only to find out that the #1 combo no longer exists! The #1 is now a #2!  Fast forward to 1 a.m.  I am now drinking hot green tea with honey and lemon, under much protest.  It tastes disgusting and makes me ill, but it works, and I’m ready to sing again! :)

Getting Ready for the BIG Night

Posted on 2008 10, 16 by hayley

The countdown has begun, and I’m super excited about my upcoming concert and CD release party!  There are so many places to be, so many things to do, so many people to see before the BIG night.

Friday before the concert, I have to wake up at the ridiculous hour of 4 a.m. so that I can be at the Cross 88.7 FM by 6 a.m. with none other than Brad Ellerbe and the great interviewer, Phillip Brooks.  We’re going to rock the airwaves with some of my music and talk about the project while everyone else is headed to school or work, or still cozy under the covers.

On Monday, the SLAM Cafe connoisseur, Sabre’ Master, will concoct a “truly Hayley” drink that must be turquoise and must past the Hayley taste test!  Then, I’ll be on Lamb Broadcasting’s Fully Alive (channel 39) to sing a couple of songs from the CD and talk about the concert.

After that, on Tuesday,  the amazing videographer, Cameron Brister, will shoot some video footage that will be shown at the concert.  In the meantime, Aundi Brown and Kip Carson will transform the Family Life Center into a concert hall.

Right before I head to the concert on Wednesday, I’ll stop by the Cross 88.7 FM to say hello to all my radio fans.  See you there!  Hayley
