In March….the very first day of spring, I was invited to sing at the one and only Big Al’s Winterfest!! To say it was quite an experience is quite an understatement…lol. There was a huge amount of talent exhibited that night. Between the drill teams, youth choirs, and many, many other presentations, this was a wonderful night that will not be forgotten!

In March, I went to sing at an awesome church…Amazing Grace Worship Center. We all came together for a wonderful time of worship, and like the scripture says, ” God inhabits the praises of His people”. Once again, the Lord proved that His word is true. The move of God was so powerful, and I know that I was touched, and I hope everyone in the audience was, too.
After the service, a lady and her teenaged daughter walked up to me and shared this story. ”For twenty years,” the lady said, “I have not stepped foot into a church. My daughter wanted me to come hear you minister in concert. So you are the reason I am here tonight.”
Wow!….I didn’t know what to say. It baffled me that God would use someone like me to minister to a woman who I didn’t know anything about and probably couldn’t relate to anything she had been through. But He did. That night made me realize that we shouldn’t take any opportunity we have to witness for granted, and we certainly shouldn’t let that opportunity pass us by. I’m so thankful that God has called me to minister to others about His amazing love, grace, and mercy, and I am very willing to do whatever He has in store for my life, even if sometimes I don’t really want to. I know His plan for my life is so much bigger than my own. He looks at the big picture, and He only knows what’s best….we just have to learn to listen.
