HAPPY THANKSGIVING
“O what a beautiful morning….” My morning started early…7 a.m. in the dentist chair…not so beautiful! For about a week I have not been able to eat very much because of the pain in my mouth. Actually, I had a case of “strep” throat for which I was taking medication; then the gums started hurting. Before today, I never knew one’s gums could grow an extra layer that would push on the teeth and cause so much pain. My wonderful dentist took care of the problem, and I should be much better in a few days…and thankfully, just in time for a wonderful Thanksgiving.
At any rate, I was thinking how, that spiritually speaking, when we “eat” the Word of God, it sometimes has to come in small, soft portions because it can actually “divide soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and knows the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12) This process can be quite uncomfortable until the author of the Word steps in and cuts away the extra layers that prohibit us from ingesting spiritual food. I want to “taste and see that the Lord is good”. But sometimes in order to do this, I may have to experience some spiritual adjustments.
Today is the day! With less than 50 days until Christmas, we should all be getting in the mood to celebrate our Savior’s birth! And what better way than with some rockin’ Christmas music! You will be jammin all the way to Christmas Day listening to a new version of “O Holy Night”…

There are a lot of firsts in my life…my first tooth, my first step, my first word. Then, of course, there is first grade, first parade, first decade. The list goes on and on. I suppose one of the most exciting firsts for me was recording my first album “Seasons of Change” which really opened the door for many more firsts. Last year I recorded “O Holy Night”…a vibrant rendition I am sure you will enjoy :0 And, coming soon in 2011 will be an EP of original songs…another first.
What actually started all of this? I voted for the first time today! And it felt great
